The argument has been made that the collection of all communications is the only way to stop terrorism. People at the Occupy gatherings and Tea Party groups were victims of surveillance, cointel-pro infiltration and violent suppression all because they were labeled as terrorists. So, now we know how they define us. Any attempt to disclose the corrupt relationship between the government and the oligarchs ruling the country is a red flag. Companies like Verizon bring in billions for their share holders while they provide records of all their customers to the NSA. Meanwhile collection and monitoring is directed by private companies. Any potential threats to the monopolies in place are indeed spied upon like criminals. Your ability to become informed and stop giving your money to a corrupt system is what they fear most. They are terrified.



Crack downs on free speech were organized by the FBI in 2011 to reign in grassroots protests. It has been revealed that the marching orders to treat all Americans as potential suspects, denying constitutional rights, have been handed down from federal directives. The level of oppression has only increased as the Patriot Act legislation has been cited to permit mass data storage without probable cause or warrants (known as operation boundless informant). The internet has opened up peer-to-peer information sharing that empowers people to challenge the fascist state (merger of business and government). There is an ongoing attempt to keep the lid on the box through intimidation. Recent revelations leaked by whistle-blowers has sent the message that nobody is safe. Well guess what, if you are consistently on the side of truth you are untouchable.

A mass-media industry makes light of these concerns as they rake in the profits by spreading propaganda. There is a chilling collusion within the corporate elite to uphold the system. When citizens have had enough of being lied to by the NASDAQ endorsed news reporters and constant betrayal by politicians and the tech giants that control their content, they will turn away from them . Being spied upon by search providers while missing out on the wealth open sharing creates will come to and end. On that day the people will take their money back.

In Brooklyn NY a 16 year old teenager, Kimani Gray, shot 7 times during a stop and frisk. Conflicting stories are out there but police claim no wrong doing. The community has been rising up to protest the killing. Is deadly force justified when a police officer feels threatened? You decide...




This film needs an update for 2013. The violence continues, we still haven't stopped stop and frisk. Today in america another black or latino youth will be killed by the police. It happens everyday, literally. Activists should support groups like copwatch who hope to hold 'the law' accountable. The whole world is watching!
